Idan Hojman was born In Israel in 1980. He started making photography at the age of 21 while traveling in Asia. For most of his work Idan uses a Rolleiflex analogical camera of medium format, mainly shooting in Black & White. He currently lives in Barcelona, Spain.
“For me photography is a form of meditation, a simple observation of what is happening around us, a way to connect with the present moment from instant to instant. There is so much beauty in this world; one has only to open his eyes and heart in order to see it.”
In the year 2011 he won the “PBN people’s choice award in traveling category” for his self-published book “Along the River” – a spiritual photographic quest in India.
In the year 2015 Idan publish his second work: Land- a journey of self-discovery and beauty through the landscapes of Israel. The book was finance through Kickstarter and was pressed released in Israel in several articles. The aim of this project is to ispire unity and peace through the power of nature.
